Welcome to the Mel Nimer campaign website! It’s time to start thinking seriously about what is happening in Salt Lake County, and what can be done to reduce the size of our government. It’s all about PRIORITIES this year and in looking at the Salt Lake County budget and some of the ideas that have been put forth concerning getting into the hospitality business, protecting our water sheds, and the shrinking size of our revenue sources vs the growth of our budget, I believe it is time for someone with a strong financial accounting background to step up and help create a more reasonable budget and plan for the future. That is why I am running for the At Large seat on the Salt Lake County Council. There is much work to do between now and the November elections and the June primary, especially getting the word out and raising the money to fund a successful campaign, so if you want to help in any way please let us know ASAP.
